Health Fair 2025 Highlights
In March 2024, the town of Chapelton, Breaking Healthcare Barriers hosted a vibrant and impactful Health Fair aimed at promoting wellness and preventative care within the community. The event brought together local healthcare providers, volunteers, and organizations who offered free medical check-ups, dental screenings, blood pressure and glucose testing. The fair also provided information on chronic disease management and access to affordable healthcare services.
The Chapelton Health Fair successfully fostered community engagement and raised awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle through early detection and consistent care.
250 Medical Patients
Conducted a two-day medical mission in Clarendon, treating 250 medical patients.
110 Patients
Provided dental care to 110 patients, performing over 130 extractions.
Strengthened Partnerships
Strengthened partnerships with local hospitals and U.S. and Jamaican healthcare professionals to expand access to primary care, dental services, and patient follow-up.
